Advocacy Through The Arts

October 12 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Advocacy Through the Arts is a multi-disciplinary project that gives individuals with special needs the opportunity to be heard and understood, to build confidence, execute self-expression, and promote self-advocacy through multi-media forms of art. The project culminates in a 60-minute showcase of 10 segments, each segment a snapshot into the life of the artist, written and created by them. The showcase includes film, live performance, video projection, visual art, costume design, dance, music, and more.

EVENT SCHEDULE
Performance begins at 4 PM. Please enjoy the Friends Art Show before and after the performance. Original artwork will be available for purchase. Tickets to the performance are $20 each. The art show is free and open to the public.
