Sarah Edwards started off at Friends Life Community in 2012 through a work study position from Belmont University. The Friends and Sarah created an original theatre piece that served as her senior theatre capstone project and was performed at Belmont. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Education, Sarah spent two years incorporating theatre, puppetry, and dance into Friends Life Community’s Day Program to increase social and life skills. In 2015, Sarah went to pursue her career in therapeutic theatre and graduated with her master’s degree in Drama Therapy from Kansas State University, and is a Registered Drama Therapist with the North American Drama Therapy Association. She is thrilled to be back and ecstatic to create some exciting new theatre and film opportunities through Friends Life Community!
Sarah believes in the ability of each Friend and strives to release the magic found within them by maximizing their purpose.
