Julianne first came to Friends Life as an intern in 2022 while pursuing her BSW at Belmont University. Through Social Work education, Julianne has learned so much about how valuable connection and inclusion is with this population and recognizes the tremendous benefits that a social worker can bring to this environment. In pursuit of fulfilling this need and implementation of the social work practice, Julianne is currently attending Graduate school at the University of Tennessee to obtain her master’s in social work.

As a Client Success Coordinator, Julianne is dedicated to helping the Friends achieve their goals and celebrating their successes and has fallen in with working with the IDD population in the process. She is thrilled and feels so lucky to be able to work so closely with such amazing people! At Friends Life, Julianne is consistently learning more about the IDD population, social work, and herself! She enjoys participating in and leading service-learning classes in the community as well as classes that promote social and emotional skills, advocacy, and self-determination.
