Nikkita Staggs is an artist and independent researcher in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication with a concentration in Theatre and a minor in English. For the past 15 years she has worked in the world of professional entertainment as an actress, stage manager, props maker, set builder, lighting designer, and technician. She has worked with all major theatre companies in the Nashville area, and beyond.

Nikkita is also an accomplished visual artist having displayed works of photography, and illustration in NYC, Kentucky, Philadelphia, and Tennessee. In Recent years she has turned her attention to the areas of robotics and biological research, having successfully completed a robotics and art residency with the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on the use of biological materials in robotic circuitry to help create a sustainable future in the world of technology.
