Waverly Ann Harris, M.S. ABA

Waverly Ann has worked with the Friends and families at Friends Life Community since 2009 when she taught exercise and nutrition from a state-wide curriculum that she directed and co-created. In 2011 FLC hired her to be the program director. At the time, the organization had just received its license as an adult day program and only had twelve participating Friends. Over the last 10 years, the organization has grown to more than 60 program participants, and earned revenue has increased by three hundred percent.
Waverly Ann holds a B.A. in Sociology from Western Kentucky University and M.S. in Education for Applied Behavior Analysis, and Master’s Certificate in Conflict Management from Lipscomb University. Before FLC, she worked in nonprofit management in multiple states and even internationally. Her specialty is systems-thinking and collaborative problem solving to bring teams together to improve services. She also enjoys consulting with individuals and organizations and public speaking at events.
